Welcome to the website of East Kent Acro, Kent's longest established acrobatic gymnastics club.
The club were formed in 1985 and are based in Tides Leisure Centre, Victoria Park, Park Avenue, Deal, Kent.
The club offer recreational (fun) gymnastic sessions for children age 5 to 16 of all abilities (see "Abut us") as well as competitive acrobatic gymnastics and tumbling up to National level.
PREP LEVEL REGIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS
Well done to all who competed on Sunday with a particular contratulations to our five new regional champions: James, Imogen, Malindi, Megan T & Deborah.
1st - James & Imogen (Prep A MxP), Malindi & Megan T (Prep B WP) & Deborah Regional B tumbling (Deborah won her 13+ age group and the overall Prep B trophy.
2nd - Phoebe, Chloe & Jamila (Prep Groups) & Megan B (Regional A WT 11-12)
3rd - James (Regional B MT 9-10) & Charlotte (Regional C WT 13+)
Also well placed in the top 10 were Coralie, Charlotte & Daisy - 4th Prep Groups, Joe (Leaguers) - 4th Regional A MT 8 & under, Coralie - 4th Regional B WT 13+, Daisy - 4th Regional C WT 11-12. Deborah & Sian - 6th Prep B WP, Zowie (Leaguers) - 8th & Louise - 10th both Regional A WT (9-10), Catrina & Kimberleigh (both Leaguers) - 6th and 7th respectively in Regional A WT 11-12, Ilona - 10th Regional B WT 9-10 and Megan T - 8th Regional C WT 9-10.
FANTASTIC RESULTS AT HOLLINGTON INVITATIONAL
34 medals - we had our best ever results in a single competition with everyone bringing home at least one medal.

2nd - Malindi & Megan (Prep B WP), Sian, Phoebe & Jamila (Prep Groups), Rachael & Grace (Grade 1 WP), Daisy (Reg C WT 11-12), Alice (Nat 1 11-12)
3rd - Deborah & Sian (Prep B WP), Alice, Chloe & Ilona (Prep Groups), Tessa, Maria & Alice (Grade 2 WG), Megan B (Reg A WT 11-12), Charlotte Kirk (Reg C 13+), Jess (Nat 2 WT 13+)
